Nek Minit

Nek Minit is a play on the words next minute. When Norwest mob are yarning(talking), next minute is said a lot in conversations, so shortening the words, making fun of it is the underlying reason. This has caught on up and down the coast of WA in Aboriginal communities as well as the broader one. This is a more modern term that I believe started in late 2010's & I first heard it in Karratha from Carnarvon mob.
